Scouts and Guides

The Clifton Baden Powell Scout hut hosts a wide range of activity for local boys (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) and girls (Rainbows, Brownies and Guides) from the age of 5 or 6 upwards.

Beavers meet on Tuesdays 5.00pm–6.00pm in the Scout Hut on Pound Lane, Clifton. The section is for boys and girls aged 6-8. For further information contact

Cubs meet on Thursdays 6pm–7:30pm in the Scout Hut on Pound Lane. The section is for boys and girls aged 6-10.5. For further information contact

Scouts meet on Tuesdays 6.15pm–8pm in the Scout Hut on Pound Lane. The section is for boys and girls aged 10.5-14. For further information contact

Brownies meet on Wednesdays 5.30pm–7pm for girls aged 7 to 10. They are working towards a Science Investigator and Circus Skills badges. Trips are organised to the West Midlands Safari Park and Top Barn for canoeing and climbing. Contact:Julia Haywood on 07964 176747 or email

Rainbows meet on Wednesdays 4.30pm –5.30pm for girls aged 5 and 6. They move on to Brownies at age 7. Clifton Rainbows are a small but very enthusiastic group and will give new recruits a friendly welcome! Guides meet at the Guide hut on Monday night between 6.30-8pm unless otherwise stated.
