History

Clifton-upon-Teme is the largest of our villages with a population of over 600.  It lies on the ridge, high above the valley of the River Teme with glorious views across to Herefordshire and The Malverns.

Three miles from Clifton-upon-Teme along the banks of the river are to be found The Shelsleys Shelsley Beauchamp, Shelsley Walsh and Shelsley Kings nestle in one of the most beautiful parts of the lower Teme Valley. Once famous for the annual Blossom Trail, these are quiet, scattered communities visited occasionally by walkers and fishermen, but generally a haven of tranquillity.

Lower Sapey is a small parish geographically but is sparsely populated. The hamlet of Harpley has Lower Sapey Church at its centre.
