ALL SAINTS CHURCH, SHELSLEY BEAUCHAMP UNDER THREAT

Last updated: Friday, 1st April 2016, 13:03

All Saints’ Church Shelsley Beauchamp could close unless local people volunteer to help keep services going there.

Rev John Sumner is due to retire in September and will not be replaced; the church is already lacking a Church Warden and a full PCC. So the church will need both a Church Warden and a group of volunteers to share responsibilities if it is to maintain even Festival Services.

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting on Friday 8th April 7.30.pm. will discuss  the issue and residents are urged to attend or to contact the clergy for more information.
